BLAZE AT WAIROA

COTTAGE PARTLY DESTROYED (Special to the Herald.) WAIROA, this day. A four-roomed cottage, situated in Jellicoe avenue, Wniroa, whie.h has been unoccupied for some time, was partly destroyed by tire at 1.30 a.m. to-day. The brigade lost no time in arriving on the spot and quickly subdued the blaze. The building was badly icharred, but it is possible that it may be made habitable again. The details of tho insurance cn the building, which was owned by Mr. U. L. Oldham, were not available tl.i 0 morning.
