TASMANIAN SHIPPING
FEDERAL CONCESSIONS (Received December 9, 12 noon.) CANBERRA, Dee. 9. The Federal Cabinet has decided that during the tourist season, from December 1 to January 1, the apple export season, British ships of not less than 10,000 tons burden, arid 14 knots speed, may carry passengers between Hobart and Brisbane, and Sydney and Melbourne, without making formal application or paying any fee.
