(Received Nov. 29. 11 a.m.) CANBERRA, Nov. 29. Following the. successful prosecution of the Melbourne Truth publisher for allegedly hunting a naval mutiny, the Attorney-General, Mr. .). C. Latham, announced that the Government will introduce an amendment to the Crimes Act which will prevent a defendant who was the publisher of a newspaper pleading, when he is charged with certain offences, that lie was ignorant of what had been oublished in his paper.
