POSITION TO BE .CONTINUED LONDON, May 5. In the House of Commons, the Lord President of the Council, Mr. Baldwin, replied in the negative when asked whether, in the best interests of literature, the Government would discontinue the office of Poet Laureate at the end of the present holder’s tenure.
