INTERNATIONAL AFFAIR PHAR LAP ENTERED (Received Doc. 2, noou.j VANCOUVER, Dec. 1. Tho Agua Caliiente Handicap, of £20,000, for which entries have just closed, promises to be- an international affair. l’liar Lap, and Marine, the outstanding Canadian thoroughbred, are among the nominations. Fifty others include Doctor Freeland, the recent conquoror of Malta Reveille Boy, winner of the £IO,OOO American Derby;-and Yandcrpool, who won 15 consecutive races; Alexander Pautages, who was second last year and third and the previous year. Others are Plucky Piay, Spanish Flay, Wotan, and •Sunfire.
