GANDHI’S TRIBUTE TO PREMIER

LONDON, Oct. 12. Mahatania Gandhi intends to visit Ireland soon, and after the Round Table Conference is over he plans visits to France, Germany, Italy, Palestine and possibly the United States, if the British Government has no objection. He wishes, he said, to do nothing to embarrass tho Premier or the Government. “I have the deepest sympathy for Mr. MacDonald.” he said. ’ “tie is worn out. He is carrying a load .which would have crushed a man of less spirit and courage long ago. You can see the terrible fatigue arid anxiety in Ids face. How lie can bear up under liis political troubles and the terrific national problem, along with the Round Table Conference, is quite beyond me. England has not seen his like for many a year.”
