WEDNESDAY’S CONTEST OPEN AIR TOURNAMENT The Gisborne Boxing Association’s open-air tournament, to ho held ui the McCrae baths, Ormond road, on Wednesday night, promises to be one of tlie most successful ever held by the association. A raised ring has been erected in the bottom of the batli and all seats surrounding it will command a good view of the contest. The Gisborne Boxing Association's committee is specially pleased with the arrangements. The programme will consist of a special 10-round professional contest between Watty Robertson and Gus Fitzinaurice, Gisborne's promising young professionals, both of whom are in condition and keen for victory; and six amateur bouts of first-class quality, in which several new contestants will make their appearance. Visitors to tlie Show and races should make a point of being present at this tournament. Special lighting arrangements have been made and the prices have been fixed to meet the times.
