MAYOR’S RELIEF FUND
FURTHER DONATIONS DESIRED A generous donation to the Mayor’s relief fund by the Gisborno Wrestling Association of £5 from its general fund is acknowledged with thanks by Mr. D. \V. Coleman. Tho association intended to give 50 per cent, of the profits of its recent tournament to the relief fund, but as the profits unfortunately were practically nil, the association made its gift from the general fund. The association lias asked that tho donation should he used for the purchase of seed for the vegetable gardens that are being planted by the unemployment committee. ’ The Mayor, who would bo pleased to receive further donations from any one who can assist, also acknowledges the following additional gifts : Svmpathiser £2 0 0 X.B. 10 0
