Allegations by’ three leading gramo-phone-companies, that, the unrestricted use of their records by broadcasting companies was very seriously affecting their business', is now followed by an liient, that an attempt is peiiigi made to pleach heavy restrictions upon the activities of broadcasting companies here arid in New Zealand forthwith. If this is done, upwards of 44 B-class stations in Australia will probably have to close down, and the position is likely to be tested iii the courts.
