Sir,—As a small token of appreciation from the dredgemaster and crow of the Dredge “222” of the Otago Harbor Board, wo request that you should allow us to use your columns in expression of our thanks for the splendid co-opera-tion of the crew of the ICaiaia in the work of removing the rock from the narrow part of the harbor, which they blasted in such an admirable manner, under Mr. Goodman’s directions. —Yours, etc., GREW DREDGE "222.
