SHOT IN THE CHEST
FARMER FOUND DYING (Per Pros# Association.) CHRfSTCIIIjiiCTI, last night. Bernard McKenzie Smith, a tanner, of Waitoi Peaks, near Hawarden, was found early this atternoon lying on the ground at Mason's Flat with a gunshot wound .in the chest. He died half an hour later. A shotgun was found near him.
