LONDON WOOL MARKET (Received March 21, 1 p.m.) LONDON, March 19. At the sheepskins sales 0020 bundles were offered, including 1988 New Zealand. There was strong competition and practically all the bundles were sold, at 20 per emit, above the January 29 level. \; the wool rales 9101 bales were offered, about 90 per cent, being sold. There .was a poor supply of New Zealand merinos. There was strong coinpetition, the home trade being especially active. Prices wore tirmly maintained. New Zealand greasy. crossbreds sold: Oruarnnlu, bid (highest) and t'li! (.average); BH/P, I<Hd and 10 id. Dalgety and Co. advise that at the London sheepskin sale yesterday 6050 bundles were offered, 5410 being sold. Following is a range of prices realised : Merino: Three-fourths to full wool led, 6d to 7jd ; one-fourth to half wool led, 3'd Jo s|d; short and shorn, 2jd to 3d. Crossbred: Three-fourth to full woollcd, fine, 6)d to 7)d; medium and coarse 6d to 6;jd; one-fourth to one-half woolled, fine, 6d to 6£d; medium and coarse, 5d to 6d ; short and shorn, 3|d to 4Ad ; lambs, to 6J,d.
