TO-NIGHT’S FEATURES

IYA: Mr. Simon Philipoff, the Russian musician Who has been touring the world with his balalaika, will give, a recital of three numbers. Miss Kay Christie’s contralto songs will be of a popular type. Mr. H. Warburton will contribute baritone solos. Foxtrots and waltzes will be played by the Zealandia Novelty Instrumental Quartet, and the Asquiths will provide a 20-minute draw-ing-room entertainment. 2YA: Wellington’s civic reception to Lord and Lady Baden-Powell will be broadcast.

3YA : The Dulcet Quartet (Mrs. W. B. Harris, Miss Nellie Lowe, Mr. 11. J. Francis, and Mr. A. G. Thompson), Miss Maisio Ottey (novelty pianist), and tlio Studio , Octet will provide the pro gramme. Mr. To Ari I'itama will speak on “The Evolution and Development of Maori Mrituc.” 4YA: A concert programme of sea sohgs will be followed by the presentation of the stirring sea story, “Galapagos.” I

To-morrow afternoon 4YA will broadcast a description of the New Zealand amateur athletic championships.
