In Britain there are 3,250,000 wireless licenses, representing a listening public (<f 13,250,000. These licenses increased during the past year at the average rate of 20,000 tt month. There is reason to suppose that within the next year the lota! figure may have passed the 4,000,000 mark. Nearly £1,500,(XX) is netted yearly for license fees, and of that sum the Treasury benefits to the extent of possibly £3CO,OCO.
