100 MOTOR OARS ON FIRE
BLAZE IN GLASGOW GARAGE LONDON. Oct. 28. A hundred motor cars caught alight suddenly in a tierce lire which 'broke out yesterday at, the largest garage* in the east, end ol Glasgow, lit the back of the Great Eastern Hostel, in \Dukostreet. Four hundred occupants of the. hostel, which is one, of the biggest- Working men’s dwellings in I lie west < ,t Scot land, had to hurry to safety. When tin* alarm was raised a ear owner dashed into l hr* garage to save his car. and drove it out at lop speed through the flat lies into the street.
