Miss Agnes MacPhail, a woman member of the Douse of Commons, addressing the United Fanners' Association at Toronto, said a "ring of four big creameries was doing all the butter importing from New Zealand. There was no complaint, but as soon as butter started coining in on consignment to other dealers, who sold it at lowei prices than the ring, tin,' country heard from coast to coast a howl against New Zealand."
