PROFESSOR OF OBSTETRICS (Per Press Association.) STRATFORD, last night. Dr. Doris Cordon, secretary of the Obstetrical Society, slates that Professor Marshall Allen, Professor of Obstetrics at the Melbourne University and laic Director of Maternal Mortality Research for Victoria, is coming io Now Zealand as tho guest of the Obstetrical Society flor six weeks, lie will make an extensive tour of the Dominion, and will be the guest of the Poverty Bay division of the B.M.A. for the annual New Zealand conference, which takes place in Februarv.
Professor Allen recently returned from Europe and America after studying obstetrics, in which seionco ho is one of Ihe most prominent men in the Southern Hemisphere.
