SEQUEL TO DISTURBANCE
UNEMPLOYED CHARGED (Per Press Association.) CIIKISTCHCRCH, this day. George Christopher Harris, 29, a laborer, charged with using threatening words, being disorderly, and stealing gas valued at 12s, was remanded in custody till this afternoon.
This was another sequel to Tuesday's unemployed demonstration. The threatening words wcra alleged to be: "I'll get you yet. Only your uniform saves you."
the police to-day arrested another leader of the unemployed, formerly a resident of Wellington, on charges of using insulting language.
