I lie Canadian Wheat Pool announced that there has resulted a decline .in the return to farmers from 20 dollars 40 cents per acre in 1925 to six dollars 92 cents in 1930. on the basis of present prices of wheat. POSITION IN CANADA s GOVERNMENT AID EXPECTED OTTAWA, Nov. 23. It is unofficially stated that the Federal Government has assured tho banks that it will stand temporarily behind them in any immediate steps taken to assist the western wheat pools through the present crisis.
