Simpson and lusey. tn United” States athletes, an extension I the usual 21 days’ period lias been gi anted, although the date for their appliance in Gisborne, .January 29, is unaltered. According to a list, prepared by the secretary of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association, the itinerary will he as under: Thursday, January 22: Masterton. Saturday, January 2d: Napier. Thursday, January 29: Gisborne. Week-end: Rotorua. Wednesday, February 4: Hamilton. Saturday, February 7: Auckland. Wednesday, February 11: Hawera. Saturday, February 14: New Plymouth. „ T Thursday, February 18; Wanganui. Saturday, February 21: Wellington. Wednesday, February 25 : Invercargill. Saturday, February 28: Dunedin. Wednesday, March 4 : Waimate. Saturday, March 7: Christchurch. Wednesday, March 11: Motueka. Saturday, 'March 14: Palmerston N. Wednesday, March 18: Wanganui. Saturday, March 21 : Wellington. A letter from Mr. C. G. Krogness, ol San Francisco, read at a meeting ol the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association, urged the New Zealand .association to invite Harold Rollout to visit the Dominion as, one of the touring party, and after some discussion the association decided to make a final appeal to the centres to agree to Rotlierb being included. The Wellington centre, so far, has been the only one to agree this proposal. The visiting athletes will be competing at the New Zealand championships, which, the association decided, must be held on the dates originally set down, February 27 and 28. The Otago Centre is to be advised that it will lie'entitled to one-third of the profits from the meeting, and two-thirds will go lo Die lour account.
