The Prince of Whiles and Prince George were the guests of homo at a dinner given by the Stage'Golfing So cietv at the Savoy Hotel, all the bestknown actors being present. Mr. Leslie' Henson presided. liVspomling to the tons! of his health, the Prim e of Wales said: “We at all times have broken the rules on Sunday, and I am breaking one now by speaking on Sunday night. But what 1 want to toll you is that 1 am a filthy golfer and a filthy speaker, but I do like to keep fun clean. It is written ‘All the world’s a stage.' Nowadays, till the world’s a golf course. We get info trap* at golf, and learn how to get out of them. We get into traps in our jobs, and, if golf helps us to get out of our jolts, well that’s all right.” (Loud laughter.)
The Prince then went on to tell golfing stories, including one regarding an attractive woman, whom an eminent ace described ns “belonging to the class who either replaced the turf, or re-turfed the place.”
