LONDON, October 19. Captain Cook’s “kangaroo" from the Endeavor River, which gave its name to all kangaroos and was probably the lirst seen by Europeans, was . almost certainly a wallaroo. Mr. E. Troughtmi. of the Sydney Museum, told the press. Unfortunately, said Mr. Troughtmi, the zoological materials collected on Cook's voyages have been dispersed and have disappeared.
