BIG STEEL ORDER
56,000 TONS FOR MONTREAL LONDON, Feb. 25. Mure khan 50,000 tons of structural steel will, it is estimated, bo required in the construction of the new Montreal terminal for the ''nnadmn National Railways, and 550,n0il barrels of cement will probably lie used. For terminal buildings, freight and passenger facilities, and other purposes, 585 acres of laud have been acquired, and the plans call for the coast ruction of 80 miles of new track anil the rearrangement of 12 miles of main line. The project was approved at. the last session of the < anadinu Parliament, and during the next five years expenditure will be at the rate of obou' £2,000.000 per annum. it is estimated that a total of £-10.000,0011 will be necessary to complete this project.
