A PLEASANT OUTING SATISFACTORY ATTENDANCE Despite the threat of rain this morning the attendance at the annual Raster sports meeting under the auspices of the Mauutuko Memorial Hall Association was little affected, and in bright- sunshine this afternoon a large gathering of country people and townsfolk enjoyed an interesting meeting. The death of Air. John Clark, however, cast a shadow over the gathering, and out of respect to his memory the llag was flown at half-mast on (he Memorial Hall. The function was held on To Ami Domain, a tree-sup rounded ground ideally situated for such meetings, and many parlies made a picnic day of it in the shade of the trees.
