STATEMENT NEXT WEEK PROSPECTIVE NEW LOANS (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Internal borrowing, it is stated, will be the subject of an important reference by the Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward, in the course of his review of the country's finances, which to be delivered on Wednesday or Thursday. Reference may also be made to the Dominion's next oversea loan, for which it is believed the London money market will be approached next month. Others matters of interest outside of tho actual results of the public accounts for the year also will be dealt with. In addition to announcing that a small surplus lias been, the outcome of the year's operations, the Prime Minister will supply figures showing that for the period tho State Advances Department has established a record in the number of loans granted for home building. In dealing with customs figures, Sir Joseph. Ward may disclose the intentions of tho Government regarding the removal of the additional 1 per cent, primage duty on imports other than now exempted foodstuffs and fertilisers. The unemployment position will also probably he dealt with.
