Upstairs in the drawiugroom were the wedding presents which Miss l'onsonby showed her friends. In a glass case were all the marvellous jewels which the Duke of Westminster 'has given his bride, but her favorite still is her large square sapphire and diamond engagement ring.

jsix bracelets were t'jero, four long and flexible massed with diamonds and differing in shape. Two of them were set with square .sapphires, one with emeralds, another with rubies. Yet another was like a child's bead necklace, made of round stones, but. proving to be real gems—sapphires and emeralds —mixed with yellow amber ami topaz.

A vanity case for powder and lipsalve had a ribbon baud in sapphires and diamonds. Two rings displayed the same stones, one representin;'; two hearts entwined ami one a single large diamond.

On the chairs beside this case rested the two lovely fur coats which the duke has lavished on his bride. One is of mink and was worn after the wedding. The other is id' ermine, full length, with full wide sleeves ami a deep pool' collar otVsilvcr fox. Among other gifts shown by Miss l'onsonby were two clocks, one of crystal in which diamonds were set, sent by Mr. Sidney Beer; another With gilt face and diamonds at the corners from Baron and Baroness De Forest. Lieut.-Col. the Hon. George and Mrs Keppel had given a red enamel cigarette case with diamond monogram; Sir Frederick and Lady Bonsonby a. carved jade pendant and earrings on diamond chains to match; Lord and Lady Carnarvon a gold case. The honeymoon yacht, the Cutty Hark, was moored in the Thames. The Dpkc and his bride Went down river to the yacht by motor boat after the wedding.
