TWO MOTORISTS KILLED
CAR STRIKES POLE ACCIDENT AT WANGANUI (Per Press Association.) WANGANUI last night. Two people were killed, and another was seriously injured to-day, when a sedan car hit a power pole at the eclgie. of a wide bitumen road in a Wanganui suburb. Tho two killed are: Huia Jefferies. 22, married, no fam : ily, 130 Ghuznee street, Wellington. Tho driver of the car, Mrs. M. McCarthy, employed at Victorial Petone. The seriously injuried victim is F. Aloski, Ghuznee street, Wellington Aloski suffered serious bead injuries, the actual extent of which is not yet knWn, and is in a critical condition. Mrs. Atones Jefferies has a broken arm and is suffering from shock. When the impact occurred, the right band side of the car was practically ripped off, and then the car careered 15 yards along the street, with the front wheel scraping the kerb. Those concerned were visitors to Wanganui, having just arrived from Wellington.
