SITUATION NOW QUIET (Received April 17. 3 p.m.) LONDON, April 16. In the House of Commons, Mr. Wedgwood Benn said the Bengal Government reported that the situation in Calcutta was now quiet. He was satisfied with the, local Government's ability to control the situation.
