The s.s. Waimea sailed at 12.30 p.m. to-day for Napier. An unusual visitor, to a ,Kaiti garden to-day- was.,apheasant. A resident was. surprised to'see the bird walking along a path, but on his approach it took to the air and was soon away out o( sight.
