If South African women ask shopkeepers for light woollen hose they will order them from the manufacturers, and woollen goods are hieing made in most beautiful delicate shades. ‘‘Eight woollen -stockings will be more comfortable than those of. artificial silk, ami will do nway with the necessity to wear am extra tenuis sock. No man' should hesitate to wear woollen hose, and we must, all have grit, enough to say, ‘No, unless 1 can have a woollen stocking or sock 1 will go without if need be till some come into tin' country,’ and thus help our farmers to sell their wool.’’
