WEDDING
KING—INNES. A quiet wedding was solemnised in Holy Trinity Church on Thursday afternoon l\v Canon Packe, the contracting juirtios being Miss Gertrude limes, eldest daughter of Mrs it. Green, of Whitaker street, and Air. .1. A. 0. (Cullen) King, of the Gisborne staff of the Bank of Australasia.
The bride, simply gowned in beige georgette and lace, with hat, shoes, and stockings iir suite, and carrying a prayer-book, entered the church on the arm of her brother, Mr. Theodore Junes. Him was attended by Miss Myra Fleming as bridesmaid, gowned in shell-pink georgette, with hat and shoes to tone, the bridesmaid also carrying a prayer-book. The dutifcs of best limn were carried out by Mr. Garnet llateliife, of Auckland, cousin of the bride. After tin l ceremony the bride and bridegroom left the church to tin' strains of the Wedding March, and with the relatives of the bride adjourned to the residence of the bride’s parents, where refreshments were partaken of. Later in the afternoon, Mr. and Airs King left by car amid showers of rice and confetti, and the good wishes of those personally interested, on their honeymoon.
