A FEMALE “RIPPER”
SENSATION IN SHANGHAI TWO VICTIMS FOUND DEAD (Received Feb. 11, noon.) SHANGHAI, Feb. .10. What is believed to be the work of a female “Jack the Ripper” is baffling the foreign settlement police. On Saturday, a Japanese girl, an infant, was found stabbed in the neck and strangled, and on Sunday night a Chinese girl’s body was taken from the harbor, similarly strangled. The police are searching for a pretty Chinese girl, believed to be a cabaret dancer, who was seen near the child’s homo in suspicious circumstances.
