Kay, Now Zoalainlers, and members offctho R.A.F., who obtained three mouths' leave to visit their homes, have purchased a Dcsoutter threeseater air-taxi of the latest pattern, with 100 miles criusing speed, altered it to a two-seater, and are installing an extra petrol tank in place of the third seat, giving the monoplane 850 miles range. They are hoping to take Off before dawn on February U. The first stop will be at Lyons, and thereafter Naples, Malta., Tripoli, Bagdad, Karachi, Rangoon, Kocpang and Darwin. If they reach Egypt under three days, they will attempt to beat Hinklcr's record to Australia. They do not intend to fly the Tasman Sea," being content to reach Sydney.
