The Waimea is expected to leave Auckland at 4 p.m. to-morrow with cargo for Gisborne and Napier, and is due here \>n Thursday morning.

The \Vaipahi. loading at "southern ports for Napier and 1 Gisborne, was expected to leave Wellington to-day, and is due here from Napier on Thursday morning. Tlie Katoa is due at Tolaga Bay about February IB to load for Lyttelton. The Argyllshire is due at Gisborne about February 34 to load fro/en meat and general cargo for London. Tho Cumberland is due at Gisborne about March. 7 to load frozen meal and general cargo for London and West Coast ports of the United Kingdom. The Riuuitaka, on completion of load ing frozen meat and general cargo for London', was expected to cleat' Tokomaru Hay at 2 p.m. fco-day for Wellington. The IsJiaw, Savill and Albion Co.'s steamer H'ermiuius is due here on February 15 from Napier to load frozen meat and general cargo for Boston. New Vork, Halifax, and London. To continue Homewai-d loading, the Shaw, Wavill arid Albion Co.'s motor ship Karaniea arrives here on February 16 from Napier. The Awahou loads at Auckland to-day and to-morrow, and sails to-morrow evening for Coast bays and Gisborne, arriving here on Thursday night. The Parera was expected to leave Tokomaru Bay during the week-end with sheep ibr Lyttelton. From the latter port she proceeds to Wellington to load rails for Gisborne. The Pafcura sails from Wellington tomorrow night for Napier and Gisborne. She is due here on Friday morning. The motor ship Ahrgaret W arrives at Auckland this morning from Gisborne. via Coast bays. She loads there to-day and to-morrow, and sails to-morrow afternoon for Hicks Bay, Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bav, and Gisborne. The Tiroa leaves Tokomaru Bay this afternoon, and is due at Auckland on Wednesday to load for Coast bays. The Chatham Islands steamer Tees sailed from Lyttelton for Waitangi at noon on Thursday. The vessel was originallv scheduled to sail from Lyttelton to the Chatham* on Tuesday evening, but was delayed owing! to the deckhands refusing to take the ship to sea unless given a guarantee by the owners that they would concede an additional Is 6d" per hour over and above the union rates of pay while engaged in handling cargo either at the Chatham Islands or at Lyttelton. The. owners refused to grant the extra monev. not wishing to create a precedent in view of the fact that the payment was not authorised by the award. The matter was referred to the Shipowners Federation, who apparently consulted with the Seamen's Union. In view of the large mmntities of sheep awaiting shipment at the Chat hams. and the seriousness of the vessel being delayed, the Westlaud Shipping Co. hail no option hut to meet the demands ol the men.
