Starlings are plentiful in the Waipuknrau district, and so far as the Central Hnwjto's Bay Power Board is. concerned, the birds are proving a great nuisance. Near tho ITatuma road, at the breakingdown point, dead starlings are to he seen 'in dozens. The birds in meeting their J dfaath have caused disconnections in many coses.
