WOOL OFFERINGS
TO BE CURTAILED ATJST. GROWERS DISSATISFIED (Received Feb. 1, 11 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Feb. 1. Owing to the further decline in wool values this week arrangements have been made for a joint meeting of the Australian AVoolgrowcrs ’ Council and tho National Council of Woodselling brokers in Melbourne next Wednesday to review the position. It is likely that a further curtailment of offerings will be discussed. The sales in Adelaide have been postponed. Growers are very dissatisfied with the present position and would welcome any proposal restoring confidence in the market.
