FLOOD WATERS RECEDING
DAMAGE IN QUEENSLAND CHARLEVILLE ISOLATED (Received Feb. 1, .11 a.m.) BRISBANE, Feb. 1. The flood waters arc now receding. The bridge aver the Buvdekin river should be clear shortly and trains arc expected to. cross to-day.. The Herbert river is Row sft under the bridge. Damage estimated at £10,00,0 was done to two bridges in the Mackay district, the floods completely wrecking them. Charleyille is still isolated by water.
