LICENSES CANCELLED
DRUNKEN MOTORISTS (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The season's festivities cost two more drivers their licenses for 12 months today. George Inglis, a marine engineer, was one, and he was fined £lO. Alfred G. Y. Baxter, the other man, was fined £2O. Baxter's condition was discovered as a result of his colliding with another car. Tlie justices on the bench remarked on a plea that somo consideration should be extended owing to tho season, that drink and motoring could not go together, and drivers should leave it alone.
