YOUNG MAN MISSING
BELIEVED TO BE DROWNED (Per Press Association.) LEVIN; this day. A. young man, Wnhiye St. George, 27, disappeared yesterday afternoon while bathing at Otaki beach. 'He was a member of a family picnic party. He intimated his intention of going into the water and was not noticed by the others in the party, and it was thought that he was sun bathing. In the evening he was reported missing, and his clothes were found on the beach. The beach was searched without finding any trace. St. George was employed in Wellington, and was visiting his home for his holidays.
