SCIENTISTS' EXPEDITION NEW YACHT BEING BUILT NEW YORK, Dec. 25. A message from Philadelphia states that Mr. Eldridge R. Johnson, trustee of tlie University of Pennsylvania, announced the commencement of construction of a 400 tons yacht provided complete with laboratories, scientific equipment, seaplanes, and dredges, with which be intends to cruise from New Zealand to New Guinea in tho hope ol rinding at least one island "not yet located." The yacht will be 263 ft. long and will cast £30,000. She will carry ft crew of 3EI, besides 20 scientists. Activities will centre about Easter Island and' other sections of Oceania.
