British Firm’s Purchase
Messrs. Babcock ancl Wilcox, Ltd., the British boiler manufacturers, have purchased 40 per cent, of the shares in the largest Polish boiler works, the Zioleniewsld Fitziior Camper Co. The British firm, it is stated, will supply the necessary funds for the modernisation of the plant. The technical work will be carried out by local experts, but there will be British financial supervision.
