EARTHQUAKE RELIEF
FURTHER £61,432 VOTED (Par Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The earthquake committee has voted a further sum ol £51,432 for the repair of damage. The Commissioner of Pensions is investigating the question of general assistance for the widows and dependents df those killed, with a view to ascertaining what provision can reasonably be made out of the fund.
