DUSSELDORF MURDERS
NINETEENTH VICTIM DETECTIVES IMPOTENT (Elec. Tol. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Received Nov. 6, 3 p.m.) BERLIN, Nov. 5. In defiance of an army of police and detectives, who are hunting Dusseldorf high and low, the mysterious murderer known as “Jack tlic Ripper’’ has claimed allot her victim. A young woman walking in a lonely lane was lassoed from behind. A man sprang on her, flourishing a dagger, and then produced a hammer and struck her several biows. There is no doubt that the present outrage, tlie nineteenth since the outbreak in April, is tlie work of the same man, because il occurred in the identical spot, and the same methods were employed as the first murder of the series.
In every case tlie murderer lias been able to escape without leaving a clue.
