REFORMATIVE DETENTION
WELLINGTON PRISONERS (Pnr Pruts Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. In tho Supreme Court to-day Leslie Gordon Fraser, 19. for unlawful carnal knowledge, two charges, was sentenced to 12 months' reformative detention. His Honor directed the probation officer to bring the matter of the active period to be served specially before the Prisons Hoard, and also to refer the case to the authorities, so that the Minister might, if he. thought lit, order the transfer of tho prisoner to a Borstal institute. George Stodart, 54, who/ pleaded guilty to two charges of theft as a servant of £326 16s, the property of the Inglewood Bacon Curing Co., was sentenced lo 12 months' reformative detention.
