AN ENORMOUS LOAD
140 TONS OF CABLE LONDON, November 3. The heaviest submarine cable that ever left England was carried by the London North Western Railway from the Enfield works to a Thames wharf to-night by a special train made up for the work and weighing in all 140 tons. Both tracks had to be kept clear; therefore Sunday evening was selected us the least likely to interfere with traffic.
