FUNOTION AT OVAL HIGH STANDARD OF GAMES Nearly 2GCO children from all primary schools in the Poverty Bay district were present at the Oval to-day, when the annual school sports were held under the auspices of the Poverty Bay Primary Schools’ Sports’ Association. _ A high standard of form was evident in almost every section, the performances in the athletic events being particularly good. The spvcn-a-side Rugby football competition drew large entries, and some keen contests resulted, with Marist head ing the honors list in the early games.
