SEAMEN’S UNION
THE RIFT IN BRITAIN MAY REJOIN T.U.C. (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Australian and X.Z. Press Association.) (Received September 20. 8 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. if). After numerous seamen’s and miners’ conferences, the Seamen’s Union has resolved to dissociate itself from Spencer’s non-political miners’ union, and pledges support for counteracting the injury arising from its former association. This*is all a prelude to the Seamen’s Union rejoining the Trades Union Congress. It will lie remembered that there was a. legal action before the death of Mr. Havelock Wilson, tte- seamen making a £IO.OOO grant to spencer’s Union.
