A FARCE
INTERNATIONAL AIR RACE BRITISH PLANES WELL AHEAD (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (Received August 14, 11 a.m.) BRUSSELS, August 13. The international air race has degenerated into a farce, it finishes at Orley, near Brussels, but no arrangements have been made to register arrivals at Orley before 3 o'clock on the afternoon cm Wednesday, hence Captain H. S. Broad and Miss Spooner, who have averaged 700 miles per day, and easily outdistanced the others, are wasting time in order to make the final hop to Brussels to-morrow
