PAINTER'S DEATH
DRANK SPIRITS OF SALTS (Per Press Association.) DARGAVILLE, this day. Cyril E. Salmon, a painter, 38, a single man, of Donnelly's Crossing, had breakfast yesterday with his brother, a recent arrival from Australia. He went to work in a shed nearby, and later returned to tell his brother that he had taken spirits of salts by mistake. He was placed in a car and rushed to 'le Kop-jro Hospital, 35 miles away, bu' expired on the way. An inquest is being held to-day.
