In passing sentence of three years] Borstal detention on Samuel Fabian Wilts, •gn ex-cierk in the Rank ,of New South Wales at Auckland, Mr. Justice Herdman addressing the prisoner, said : “If I were to extend to you probation J feel I would be failing in my duty. You admit haying forged documents for £4700, arid with the advantages you have had pi good education, home, and a position p! trust, there is no excuse. By your foolish action you have ruined your career. An example must be made, am! a warning given to young men in a position of trust.” .
